How high to hang art above a sofa

Centre the work on the sofa, not on the wall. The art should feel connected to the seating below.

Keep the bottom edge roughly 15–20cm above the sofa back. Too high and the room tips upward.

For panoramic pieces, width matters more than height. Let it span most of the sofa.
