Printable art size and aspect ratio guide

Aspect ratio is the relationship between width and height. A4 is close to 1:1.4; a square file is 1:1.

Match the file to the frame you already own before you buy. A panoramic file will not fill a square frame without cropping.

When in doubt, choose the largest size your frame supports and scale down. Scaling up can soften fine detail.
